Calling on all Gong Players who have completed a basic Gong Training (live/virtual) who are interested in exploring Advanced Gong Mastery Topics with Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. This One Day workshop is followed by an all night Gong Puja under the stars event. Facilitated by Bowl Master/Sound Therapist Micah Sheiner and Yaelle E. Shaphir, L.Ac., and hosted on Starhenge Peace Garden in Mother’s Garden in Joshua Tree, California.

Join us in Full Resonance for an all-night gong puja under the stars in Joshua Tree! Experience a cacao ceremony and sound journey inside Mother's Garden - California's first Starhenge - activated with gongs, singing bowls, drums, flutes, voice, & more.
Starhenge 13 is located in the Joshua Tree desert - a place of stark beauty and radiant silence, with a 360-degree view of the horizon and a full sky-dome above. This world peace bell garden is a focused container within the high desert vastness - a place for ceremonial performance art and community healing - to gather, dream, share, and celebrate together.
Inspired by Don Conreaux’s Starhenge Design Science, it is comprised of painted stone circles representing various calendar and divination systems from around the planet. The idea is to harmonize humanity's diverse perspectives into a unified whole - seeking to honor and understand one another through dialogue, and to practice a vision of planetary peace inspired by Robert Muller:
“The first 24-hour day of world peace will come when people around the world will gather together in circles, hold hands and give thanks for life and breath, while listening to all the gongs and bells of peace ring together around our planet earth.”
One way to connect with the purpose and power of Starhenge is through teachings on Native American Medicine Wheels:
“Wherever they are, however they are created, [medicine wheels] will always gather people in unity and community of mind, regardless of their background or religious beliefs. Circles of Earth offer a great way of moving beyond differences and provide an effective path for truly meeting together at the very heart of Earth….The wheel is a place to meet and marry all the disagreements and misunderstandings [harnessing what Dane Rudhyar calls “dissonant harmony”] within the context of the Council wheels.”

In the context of Starhenge, we can tune in and vibrate together, share our resonant perspectives, and creatively embody this movement towards world peace by enacting Gong Mystery plays, sacred tone improvisation, and ceremonial performance art. The simple while profound shape of the garden - the circle within the circle within the circle - empowers participants with the ever-expanding and inclusive awareness of the Gong ~ capable of bridging vast gulfs of time, space, and understanding.

In stepping onto this land you will not simply be getting out of your car, but entering into Mother’s Blessing, a space of healing where the opposites can meet, polarization can be contained, the invisible become visible and the unconscious, conscious.
In this long prophesied time of planetary transition, with all the volatility, instability, and crisis that inevitably goes with it, we are traveling through the chaos of being in between one level of implicate order dissolving and another more inclusive one arising. But for those who know we travel not alone, that we incarnated for this, that we are here not just for our own growth but for the benefit of all beings, and finally that Love is the first, last, and only way, there is also unparalleled opportunity to do together our part in this great turning of the Wheel.
This land and all that is on it and all that is experienced here, is dedicated to this.

note: due to the summer conditions in the desert - it is important to bring: flashlight, a comfortable reclining object (above the ground) for the night - a cot, lounge chair, zero gravity beach chair etc. The desert has living nocturnal inhabitants so a simple yoga mat or sleeping bag on the ground is discouraged.
